Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Smooth peanut butter and banana smoothie, perfect after school snack for the kids to boost their energy. Te Whanau Nut Butter recipe

We've kept our fave smoothie combo super easy to whip up in a couple of minutes. If you've got kids, you'll know the after school slump hits hard - or even at work it's 3pm and you hit the wall! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk (we chose plant based chocolate oat)

  • 1-2 Tbsp Smooth peanut butter 

  • 1 banana

  • A few ice cubes

Method: 

  1. Place it all in your smoothie maker or blender, give it a whizz.

  2. Pour into a glass and serve.

Serves 1 - 2 kids. Double the smoothie recipe to feed more! 

To make it an even more nutritious after-school snack, add a snack platter with a selection of crackers and fresh vege sticks with some extra peanut butter to dip.
